The AVIATAR 2019 is organized by AirAsia, Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), Ministry of
Education (MoE), Ministry of International Trade and Industy (MITI),
and French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS), in collaboration
with University of Nottingham Malaysia, InvestSelangor, Jabatan
Pendidikan Tinggi (JPT), and National Aerospace Industry Coordinating
Office (NAICO).

*AVIATAR 2019* is a national aerospace initiative to foster the spirit of innovation and creative thinking through a hackathon style competition, where industrial experts and students are able to exchange ideas, be creative, and have fun.

The aviation and aerospace industry is transforming with Industry 4.0 in mind, as students you will be able to witness first hand information on such transformation, gearing your understanding of the industry and readiness for your future aspirations today.

This hackathon is an opportunity for you to explore the plethoric opportunities of advancing the technologies that surround aviation and aerospace industry, pushing it into the new realms of *artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and the Internet of Things*.
