MBA (Construction Business) programme is offered by Centre for Built Environment (CBE), Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia  in collaboration with Construction Industry Development Board ( CIDB). This programme is designed to help construction industry professionals to move out from technical positions into management positions. The curriculum exposes students to a “toolbox” of management core courses and at the same time, improve their knowledge in construction core courses. MBA (Construction Business) credential gives them the option to learn a vast amount of new concepts and go up the corporate ladder or make that career switch into the business or management arena. The graduates from this programme are eligible to apply for Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) by CIDB.

Entry Requirements

KULLIYYAH REQUIREMENTS

Good Bachelor’s degree related to the construction industry
At least 2 years working experience
Any other recognised qualification and / or experience maybe considered (subject to the approval by the IIUM’s Senate).

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must produce satisfactory proof of proficiency in English Language by either:
 - A minimum score of 550 (PBT-TOEFL), 213 (CBT-TOEFL), 6.0 (IELTS) or 6.0 (EPT) is required for International Applicants.
Proof of attendance or prior education in English-medium institutions may be exempted from the requirement of TOEFL, IELTS and EPT at the discretion of the Postgraduate Admissions Committee.
