The Centre for Professional Development (CPD), IIUM was established in 2006. It was formerly known as Centre for Educational Technology (CET) and was under the administration of Institute of Education (INSTED). The Centre conducts seminars, workshops and courses related to teaching and learning, and is responsible for the Basic Teaching Methodology Course (BTMC) for IIUM's academic staff. CPD also provides audio-visual services to the University community.
