About the Competition

Housing 4.0 is the first and only major open architectural design ideas and digital innovation labs that is geared towards transforming housing design and construction in Malaysia.

Malaysia) & Gamuda Industrial Building System Sdn Bhd

Who can participate

Open to all PAM members, architecture students, consortiums and multidisciplinary teams, etc

Key Dates

•    Competition launch & registration - April 16, 2019

•    Closing of registration & submission of queries -May 17, 2019

•    Closing date for submission of entries - July 15, 2019

•    Technical review & shortlisting of 5 winners - Aug 5, 2019

•    Technical development & innovation workshop - Aug 9, 2019

•    Final judging - Sept 4, 2019

•    Launch of exhibition & announcement of winners - Sept 5, 2019

Note: The above dates and details are indicative. The organisers reserve the right to amend and adjust according to circumstances.

Prize Money

•    1st prize - RM80,000

•    2nd prize - RM40,000

•    3rd prize - RM30,000

•    Honorary Mention 1 - RM15,000

•    Honorary Mention 2 - RM15,000
