International Journal of Allied Health Sciences (IJAHS) is a peer-reviewed, English-language scholarly online journal, published biannually by the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia.

OBJECTIVES

 The main objectives of this journal are to:

· nurture the Allied Health Sciences Professionals on their research dissemination/article writing.

· provide chance and to review/share knowledge in the related research and professional interest.

· facilitate academics and researchers to elevate their intellectual level interacting through this journal.

AREA OF COVERAGE

This journal will provide an avenue to the academics to enhance their intellectual level by reviewing and submitting research articles. This journal broadly cover disciplines namely Nutrition & Dietetics, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Sciences, Physiotherapy, Speech & Audiology and Optometry. Furthermore, it cover the sub-disciplines within the Nutrition & Dietetics (Anthropometric, Biochemical & Clinical Nutritional Status Assessments etc.), in Medical Imaging (Radiographic Techniques, Body, Breast , Musculoskeletal, Cardiovascular and Paediatrics Imaging),  Biomedical Sciences (Biochemistry, Bioinformatics,  Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Embryology, Endocrinology, Genetics, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Physiology and Toxicology etc) Physiotherapy (Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy and Physiotherapy etc), Speech & Audiology(Clinical Audiology, Educational Speech-Language Pathology and Speech Therapy etc) and Optometry (Clinical, Industrial  Optometry and issues on Optometry etc).

International Journal of Allied Health Sciences (IJAHS) is an open access online journal based on the OJS system. All content in it is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this Journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

MODE OF PUBLICATION

International Journal of Allied Health Sciences (IJAHS) is published biannually with one or two special issues depending on conferences etc. It is only available online in a PDF format.

INDEXING

Initially the International Journal of Allied Health Sciences (IJAHS) will be indexed in the MyAIS (Malaysia Abstracting and Indexing System), Open-J Gate, Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Index Copernicus and will be tracked by Google and Yahoo search engines

Each manuscript will undergo a double blind review process.
