Brief introduction |
|
Physics is the study of
the behavior of space, time, fields, and matter. Research in physics
seeks to explore and explain fundamental questions that range from the
largest scales involving the entire universe to the smallest, involving
the most fundamental particles. Using highly advanced experimental
techniques and mathematical methods, physicists construct theories that
explain how the universe behaves.
Department of Physics at the International Islamic University Malaysia
(IIUM) is one of the places in the world for research and education in
physics. Coupled with an emphasis on strong fundamentals in basic
physics, students, are mentored in research topics of their choice,
with a selection from the fields of quantum information, atomic and
laser physics, condensed matter physics, classical and quantum
metrology, biophysics and sensor physics |
