Master of Arts Teaching English for Specific Purposes

The course provides a professional development
platform for local and international students. General English language courses often fail to meet the needs of learners with specific goals or interest. Therefore, this course is designed to fulfill those needs which focus in a specialized field such as Business English, Legal English, Medical English and etc.. Students will be exposed to workplace and academic cultures.

Entry Requirements (Language): 

* Students who have been accepted on condition of providing evidence of English proficiency must submit their proficiency certificates before the beginning of the course. If they fail to do so, they will be required to sit for the IIUM-administered English Placement Test (EPT).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

If deemed necessary, applicants may also be required to attend an interview and/or take an entrance test conducted by the Board of Admissions.
