KUANTAN - Br. Muhammad Iyad bin Ramzi  presented on "Eurycoma longifolia  Jack (Tongkat Ali) Extract Reduces the Growth of Salivary Isolated from Streptococus mutans and Lactobacilus". The research team include Br. Muhammad Hazim bin Kosnin, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghasak Ghazi Faisal, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Arzmi and Asst. Prof. Dr. Anisa Kusumawardani. The team was awarded with Joseph Lister-IADR MalSec Award for Oral Prevention during 18th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Malaysian Section at Geno Hotel, Subang Jaya,Selangor on 30th March 2019. They were eligible to attend next stage of IADR competition at the 4th meeting of IADR Asia Pacific Region in Brisbane on 28-30 Nov 2019.

Br. Muhammad Hazim bin Kosnin also presented findings on "The Effect of Dental Caries on the Colonization of Candida Species". The research team comprises of Sr. Harina Akila Che Hussin, Sr. Nadiah Arshad and supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faisal Ismail, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zuranie Abllah and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Arzmi.
