The Computational Intelligence research group (Dr. Amelia, Dr. Raini, Dr. Amir & Dr. Suriani) have trained 25 KICT students (BCS & BIT) for the Nasa International Space Apps Challenge, the biggest hackathon event in Malaysia, from 19 to 20 October 2019, at MaGIC, Cyberjaya.

There are 2 tracks;

1. Hackathon (2 groups = 10 BCS students), and

2. Ideathon (3 groups = 15 BCS & BIT students).

There were 150 groups for Hackathon, and 100 groups for Ideathon. Overall there were 2000 participants for the challenge.  We are happy to share that one of the Hackathon groups managed to secure the third place.
