Gombak, 31 May 2021. IIUM enters into a partnership agreement with nine universities and institutions from United Kingdom, Spain, Greece, India, Vietnam and Malaysia to develop a curriculum in climate change policy and law through an Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union secured by Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa and her team.
The project is looking at developing a curriculum on climate change policy and law suitable for postgraduate programmes for students coming from different disciplines. The project is also preparing to establish a centre on climate change policy and law to provide a platform for students, academics and practitioners to discuss and to conduct research.
Dr Maizatun Mustafa leads a team of researchers from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) consisting of Assoc Prof Dr Sharifah Zubaidah Syed Abdul Kader, Assoc Prof Dr Sonny Zulhuda, Asst Prof Dr Wan Zulhafiz Wan Zahari and Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib.
