Forum on the State of Labour Market in Malaysia with YB Akmal Nasir, MP for Johor Bahru

On Friday, 3 May 2019, the Association of Malaysian Economics Undergraduates (AMEU) in collaboration with the Academic Staff Association (ASA) of IIUM, the Bachelor of Economics Council, IIUM; and the Bachelor of Business Administration Council, IIUM; co-organized an engagement session with YB Akmal Nasir, the Member of Parliament for Johor Bahru and the Youth Chief of Party Keadilan Rakyat (PKR). YB Akmal Nasir, together with Dr. Muhammad Irwan Ariffin, Vice President of ASA and Deputy Dean (Academic and Industrial Linkages) of KENMS; participated as forum discussants on "The State of the Labour Market in Malaysia." The forum was moderated by Aneeq Ruslan, President of AMEU, and lasted for about 2 hours with a question and answer session towards the end. YB Akmal Nasir expressed his interest to have a continuous engagement with academicians and students of International Islamic University Malaysia.
