IIUM DONATES ESSENTIAL NEEDS TO HOSPITAL ORANG ASLI GOMBAK COMMUNITY

Gombak, 22 May - - International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) under the initiative of IIUM Academy of Graduate and Professional Studies donates essential needs and food aid to the Hospital Orang Asli Gombak community at the Office of the Director of Hospital Orang Asli Gombak.
The donation was delivered by the Honourable Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak to the Director of Hospital Orang Asli Gombak, Dr. Izandis Mohamad Sayed in a small occasion by following the SOP under the Ministry of Health.
According to the Dean of Academy of Graduate and Professional Studies, Professor Dr. AAhad M.Osman-Gani, this donation is in line with the university’s initiative by serving the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme especially in Gombak district.
Besides, this contribution is a sign of appreciation to the hospital’s staff on their dedication in serving the community especially to the indigenous community here.
"The university through the donations hopes will enlighten the hospital’s staff as well as the patients at Hospital Orang Asli Gombak in celebrating Eid al-Fitr", he added.***
