IIUM Pagoh Achievement: Congratulations! to Japanese Minor Course Students for winning Prizes at Batu Pahat Japanese Festival

On 13th April 2019, Festival Bahasa Jepun Negeri Johor Ke - 4 2019, at SMK(P) Temenggong Ibrahim, Batu Pahat Johor.

14 Johor local secondary schools, IIUM KLM and UTHM joined the Japanese-language festival and compete several contests on speech, yukata (traditional Japanese summer clothes), karaoke and others. 

This was the first time for IIUM to join this festival, but fortunately, four IIUM students won the prizes. These students are the best motivated Japanese learners in IIUM and are expecting to complete the Japanese minor in KLM soon. Congratulations for the prize winners!

1. Husain Ali Yahya (ENCOM), 1st prize at speech contest (university level category)

2. Hudaa Mardhiyah Binti Kamarul Zaman (TPHM) 1st prize at story telling contest (university level category)

3. Dzulhilmi Bin Kasunandi Haris Faizal (MLCOM), 1st prize at Mr yukata contest (university level category)

4. Nur-ain Farahani Binti Haris Faizal (ENCOM), 2nd prize at Ms yukata contest (university level category)
