In conjunction with World Arabic Language Day 2021, the Department of Arabic Language in collaboration with Kulliyyah of Languages and Management Postgraduate Students' Society (KLMPGSS) and Kulliyyah of Languages and Management Students' Society (KLMSS) have organized an International online forum entitled Issues in Teaching Arabic for Specific Purposes during Covid-19. On 18 December 2021/Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Malaysia Time)




The forum gathers 4 experts of Arabic for Specific Purposes from Southeast Asia countries, namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand, to discuss contemporary issues on this field in the midst of Covid-19. The invited speakers are: Dr. Rushdi Tahir ( مركز اختبار كفاءة اللغة العربية وتطوير مهاراتها, Thailand), Ustz Nur Fajri Ramadhan ( BISA, Indonesia), Dr. Abang Hazman Bin Abang Taha (Persatuan Bahasa Arab, Brunei) and Muhammad Taufiq Yuswadi (Akademi Al-Qudwah, Malaysia).


The forum which moderated by two Master students of MTASP: Sr. Anis Azrina and Muhammad Izzat has been discussed the Challenges and Difficulties Faced by Arabic Learning Centers In Managing Online Teaching And Learning During The Pandemic and highlighted the following:

*Marketing and promotion strategies

*Online learning platform used by the centers

*Learners’ satisfaction with e-learning

*Teachers' competence in e-learning

*Future Prospects
