The INHART 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition was held in the morning of March 18, 2019 and a total of 6 contestants from both science and social science took part in this year’s competition.

This unique competition, developed by the University of Queensland, requires presenters to explain their research in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience in three minutes. The competitors were allowed to use a single PowerPoint slide without any other resources during their presentation.

After our committed judges, Dr. Noor Yuslida Hazahari and Dr. Betania Kartika assessed each presentation according to the 3MT requirements and rules, 3 prizes were awarded by INHART to all winners:

First Place

Br. Md. Siddique E. Azam, 'Measuring Level of Halal Compliance and its' Impact on Business Performance of SMEs in Malaysia'.

Second Place

Sr. Nor Azrini Nadiha binti Azmi, 'Green Approach for Halal Nanoemulsions Production Using Deep Eutectic Solvents on Fish By-Products'.

Third Place

Sr. Fatemeh Saroodi, 'Collagen-like proteins from Rhodopseudomonas palustris as an alternative for non-halal collagen'.

All three winners will now represent INHART to the University level competition. We wish all winners the very best of luck!
