OUTPATIENT SERVICES (PANEL CLINICS) 2016 FOR IIUM STAFF AND THEIR ELIGIBLE DEPENDENTS

-   UPDATING OF PERSONAL DETAILS IN THE HURIS SYSTEM

Deadline       :       13th April 2016  / Wednesday

Kindly be informed that currently the PMCare Sdn. Bhd. is managing the Outpatient Services (Panel Clinics) since 1st January 2016.

PMCare Sdn. Bhd., MSD and the Health & Wellness Centre are encountering problems especially regarding personal details of staff in the HURIS System.  If the personal details are not correct in the HURIS System, then the data would not be correct in the PMCare System.  As such staff will encounter problems when they seek for treatment at the Panel Clinics.

We would highly appreciate if all staff can update their personal details in the HURIS system and to recheck your updates after the respective liaison officer has approved the updates.

Please find below guidelines to update your personal data :

1.           Log in HURIS

2.           Click My Profile

3.           Click Personal Info

4.           Click Personal Details

5.           Click Family

6.           Edit the relevant sections especially on spouse and children

(Very important to key-in D.O.B., IC No.(Malaysians)/Passport No. (International) & Birth Certificate).

7.           If spouse is an IIUM staff, please key-in spouse’s staff no. (same with children).   Please take note that for staff who are both IIUM staff all children will be under their “Father’s” personal details.  Therefore “Fathers” please update your personal details.

8.           If spouse is not an IIUM staff, click at “Click Here” and fill up the relevant details.

9.           Information updated will be pending upon approval from the respective Liaison Officer.  Please inform your respective liaison officer to expedite the approval process in the HURIS system.  Data will be updated in the PMCare system from HURIS monthly.

10.      You can check your updates through the mobile apps.  Guidelines to register mobile apps are as below.

Attached is also a list of Liaison Officers in all KCDIOs for your reference.

Staff are also encouraged to use the mobile apps that is available by PMCare.  Below are guidelines to register for the mobile apps :-

1.     Download apps from playstore.

2.     For first time user, click register

3.     Fill up all the relevant details  (TAC No. will be sent via sms in phone)

4.     Notification will be sent on successful application.

5.     Click login, enter IC no. & password.

6.     For international staff instead of IC No. you may use your passport no.

Advantages of using the mobile apps are :

1.           You can check your family members in the system especially if you have a new member updated.

2.           You can check on status of your claims and usage at the panel clinics.

3.           You can locate the nearest panel clinic available.

Failure to update your personal details may cause panel clinics to reject treatment or you would have to pay for the visits.

Our office has also encountered confusion on the eligibility of staff and dependents who are allowed to seek outpatient treatment at the panel clinics.  Please find below those eligible to seek treatment at the panel clinic/hospitals:

1.        IIUM Staff

2.           Spouse of the staff (Ex-spouse is not eligible.  Please declare to MSD with the divorce documents)

3.           Children below the age of 18 years.

4.           Disabled children regardless of age are eligible except those who are employed or are married.

5.           Children of age 18 until 24 years old who are still pursuing their studies at local universities are eligible. (The eligibility of the 24 years old children will expire automatically upon his/her 24th birthday)

6.           Children who are already employed regardless of age will not be eligible.

7.           Children who are married or have been married before regardless of age will not be eligible.

8.           Parents and parents-in-law are not eligible.

We hope services rendered this year will improve compared to the past years.  We welcome any positive comments and queries from all staff.  Staff in-charge of outpatient services is Sr. Nur Aimi Md. Ramlan ext. 3272.

Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

Thank you.  Wassalam.
