This year IIUM has been given the honour to co-organized ROBOCON Malaysia 2019 with Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia that is successfully held on 5th to 7th April 2019 in Dewan Sri Sarjana, UNITEN. This year theme is Satu Langkah, Seribu Lonjakan inline with the main contest theme and slogan Great Urtuu- Sharing the Knowledge. 

The champion for this year ROBOCON Malaysia 2019 is Universiti Sains Malaysia and they will compete in the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest in Ulaanbaatar in August 2019.

The national level robot contest event is led by Assoc Prof Dr. Yasir Mustafah together with 12 strong committees and student volunteers from Kulliyyah of Engineering.
