Gombak, 26 November 2021. In the third meeting from 2019 between the Kulliyyah and the editorial team of the first student-led law journal in Malaysia, the members agree to consider extending opportunities to students from other law schools to articulate their thoughts through writing.
Sis Nurul Hanani Azamuddin leads the editorial team in the meeting. Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) together with Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Yazid Zul Kepli, the Deputy Dean (Student Development and Community Engagement) and Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa, the Editor of IIUM Law Journal discuss additional assistance that the Kulliyyah could provide to the editorial team.
Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib suggests the editorial team to consider using the Law Majalla as a platform to enhance the quality of students not only at AIKOL but also to work together with students from other law schools in translating the mission of AIKOL in working towards just laws and just legal systems through the process of harmonisation of Shari’ah and law which is championed by balanced graduates.
