‘HEALTH LECTURE’ (LIFESTYLE MEDICINE)

Health Lecture on Lifestyle Medicine was successfully organized and conducted by Biology Department on 10th October 2019. It represents the concerted effort and conscientiousness of biology department CFSIIUM to inculcate healthy lifestyle. The programme was initiated due to burgeoning demand on health and lifestyle improvement. There were approximately 55 academic and administrative staff from various departments namely, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Architecture and Environmental Design (AED) and Economics attended the lecture. The lecture was incredibly insightful, informative, stimulating, entertaining and engaging. The opening remark was delivered by dean of CFSIIUM, Tuan Hj Murshid bin Kassim.

Background on Dr Mohd Razin:

Dr Mohd Razin graduated as a medical doctor (Bachelor of Medicine - MD) from National University of Malaysia/‘Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’ (UKM) in 1986. He was a Medical Officer in Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ), Kuala Terengganu from 1988 until 1992. He is general practitioner in Terengganu since 1992. He also acts as a consultant to M Summit Healthcare, Penang. Dr Razin is a medical practitioner with high interest in Lifestyle Medicine and applying food as medicine and fasting as the cornerstone of treating most chronic illnesses. Currently, he is treating mostly chronic cases Eg diabetes, obesity, coronary artery diseases, autoimmune disease, allergies, cancers, Alzheimer’s, neuropathies and adopting metabolic resetting program to reverse illnesses. He has been giving consultations to more than 1 million clients over the last 27 years. Dr Razin is a speaker of high performance life and biohacks. He is also currently supervising clients doing extended water fasting in treating chronic diseases

He left the government service to set up own private practice in Kuala Terengganu. While doing so, he realised that there are limitations to the treatment modalities in the modern or western medicine. With this notion in mind, he set forth journey to find better ways of helping patients inflicted with all sorts of diseases.

In 1995, he made a landmark journey to Klinik Lahnhöhe in Germany, a distinguished integrative hospital being run mostly by medical doctors, where was exposed to various integrative modalities. Since then, there was no turning back. With more than 20 years of experience in integrative medicine in diabetic and cancer care, Dr. Mohd Razin has become a household name to thousands of patients who have been helped in one way or another. Currently, he sits as an advisor to the Farrali Healthcare Group and Healers HQ.

Dr Razin is also a consultant at res-rehab, owns by M Summit Healthcare. At the res-rehab, he is supervising treatment for chronic ailments using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The concept of res-rehab is based on correlation of the root cause of the ailment, the rehabilitation process, the healing process, the prevention as well as the lifestyle changes.
