Assistant Professor Dr. Syaza Shukri is a young researcher at the beginning of her career at the Department of Political Science. Nevertheless, she has published numerous articles in SCOPUS-indexed journals based on her doctoral research and other interests. Currently, her research interests are in the areas of identity politics, populism, political Islam, and party politics. Her area of specialization is in Comparative Politics, specifically in democratization and Middle Eastern politics.
