The students of Ethics and Fiqh Contemporary Issues (UNGS 2080) has organised a talk: ‘The Art of Dakwah’. It  was held at the Musolla of Mahallah Zaid bin Harithah on the 1st March 2019 with the involvement of 160 students including the committees. The programme was to focus on sharing the importance of doing dakwah and its implication in life. It also emphasized on providing the essential skills for the students to deliver effective dakwah. The Programme Manager for this event was Br. Zaid Harith bin Abdul Ghafar and was advised by Dr. Siti Salwa binti Md Sawari.

Interestingly, the invited speaker, Dr. Jaysuman bin Pusppanathan from UTM, Skudai is a multilingual who can speak more than three languages such as English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil and Japanese. In his talk, he had shared with the students on the tips on spreading dakwah to the Non-Muslims. The speaker also had invited two of his reverted students from UTM, Skudai to share their experiences with the students. It was said to be quite an emotional sharing session by one of the participants who came to the talk. Next, the students were assigned into few groups to do a hands-on activity.

The talk was run smoothly with the effort and full commitment from the committees and students of UNGS 2080. It is hoped that this programme can be extended in the future with another great Islamic content to allign with our title as International Islamic University Malaysia.
