THE FUNCTION OF THE UNIT

• To coordinate sports activities between all IIUM campus for students and staff 
• To select elite athletes of IIUM contingent 
• To enhance the performance of the elite athletes 
• To expose the elite athletes to compete in national and international tournaments 
• To develop and improve team the back-up team program through systematic training program  
• To apply sports science approach during training session
• To record all athletes data/profile
• To conduct talent scouting nationwide and to offer athletes to enroll into IIUM
