Dr Muhammad Amrullah Drs Nasrul is currently an assistant professor at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He obtained his Ph.D. in law at IIUM where his thesis covers on resolution of disputes in the administration of estates. He has written numerous articles, which have been published in national and international journals. He is actively involved in research related to estate administration, inheritance, mediation, and commercial law where he is working under several research grants as principal investigator (PI) and co-researcher. Among the courses that he teaches in AIKOL include Equity and Trust II, Commercial Law, Malaysian Legal System and Criminal Law. Dr Muhammad Amrullah was a former Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney General Chambers of Malaysia where he was entrusted to conduct criminal cases at the civil courts. He is also responsible for giving legal advice to government agencies and enforcement bodies. Apart from that, Dr. Muhammad Amrullah was also a legal executive at Amanah Raya Berhad where his job scope centralises on handling estate administration cases including going to court for the application for Grant of Probate as well as resolving the disputes among beneficiaries. His other past working experience includes lecturer at Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (currently known as UIS) and Universiti Malaya. Dr Muhammad Amrullah is currently appointed as the secretariat for the Harmonisation of Shariah and Law Unit and AIKOL and the Micro-Credential Liaison Officer.
