Q: What is the purpose of APT? A: To place students in the appropriate Arabic language levels. Q: Who must sit for APT? A: Undergraduate students: All undergraduate students MUST SIT for APT. Postgraduate students: Q: Who can be EXEMPTED from sitting for APT? A: Exemption from APT (for postgraduate students) may be given to: *Arab countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates & Yemen. Q: What is the procedure for exemption from APT (for postgraduate students)? A: Please come to Testing & Measurement Unit (TEMU) Office at Level 2, CELPAD with the original document and a copy of: Q: What is the entry requirement for postgraduates students? A: FAQ FOR TILAWAH PLACEMENT TEST (TPT) Q: Who is eligible for TPT for Public? A: - Students who miss eligibility for TPT New Intake. - Students who are not able to finish Tilawah Courses during the stipulated time. Q: Who are the requirement for the test? A: - Must have registered in Tilawah Courses at least once. - Not barred from the class during the existing semester. Q: When will TPT for Public be conducted?
A: Upon request by students. Q: Where will it be conducted?
A: Will be informed by the office of TEMU, CELPAD. Q: What will be tested?
A: - Recitation (Oral Test: Surah al-Imran). - Memorization (Oral Test: ad-Dhuha to an-Naas) - Tajwid Rules (Written Test: NunSakin, Mim Sakin, Madd) Q: What is the procedure?
A: 1- Collect form from TEMU office. 2- Send a letter to Head of Tilawah Division asking for approval. 3- Pay RM250 to CELPAD account. 4- Complete the form, submit to TEMU office. 5- Sit for exam. 6- Take result from TEMU office. 7- Update status with Deputy Director's office.
