BIOGRAPHY: Ir. Dr. Khaizuran Abdullah is an associate professor, department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at International Islamic University Malaysia. He is currently registered as professional engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, in 2010. He also obtained his master degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai in 2003. In addition, in 1997, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, Athens, USA. Dr. Abdullah's main research interest lies in wireless communication particularly in 5G system, IoT and LTE-A system dealing with an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique. He served as the Vice Chair of IEEE Communication Society and VT (ComSoc/VT) for Malaysia Chapter in 2018, and also as senior member of IEEE. He is also a registered member of Board of Engineers Malaysia.
