Shalinaz Abdul Salim holds a degree in Masters of Human Science Teaching English as a Second Language (M.HSc. TESL).She joined IIUM in 2000 as a CELPAD teacher. For the past 17 years, Shalinaz has held several administrative positions at CELPAD as well as for the Centre for Foundation Studies. Among the administrative posts are like the Assistant Coordinator of Language Enhancement Programme, Course Coordinator for LEM 0420.
Shalinaz also had been invited to be the speaker for EPT Writing Workshops and TDU Sharing sessions for English Language Teachers/Lecturers. She had become the mentor for a few English Writing Competitions like Maybank Perdana Writing Competitions and UNESCO Writing Competition.
