Expert Profile
Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah Misman started his academic career with the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) in 1999 when he was taken in as the academic assistant for the Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Economics and Management Science (KENMS). He has been given the opportunity by the university to promote his credentials before joining the IIUM staff of academia with Ph.D officially but under the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology in 2014. Throughout his training years, Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah has published several papers in conferences and journals in the field of Human Computer Interaction and particularly in areas of digital platform support for school environment and technology for web inaccessibility issues whereby users with disability are the main subjects.
He has taught Management Information System Courses, System Analysis and Design courses and Web Programming courses using open source tools. His current research are in the areas of understanding and analyzing data behaviour of naval radar base input patterns, a joint research with an industrial partner of the IIUM. Secondly, is in the area of semantic adaptation of navigational corpus used by most Global Positioning Satellite (GPS®) into blind user's synthesis of navigational guide. Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah is also a member of Malaysian Information Science Society and he is planning to be members of many other professional bodies.
