Asst Prof Dr. Muhd Syafi Abd Bari is an Ophthalmologist with a robust background in medical education, clinical practice, and research. After completing his housemanship training in 2014, Dr. Syafi embarked on a specialized journey in Ophthalmology. He began his career as a trainee lecturer in IIUM since 2016, and later graduated with a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2021. Dr. Syafi is deeply committed to both patient care and the advancement of medical knowledge. His dual roles at IIUM and SASMEC allow him to seamlessly integrate clinical practice with academic duties. As a medical lecturer and researcher, Dr. Syafi is actively involved in educating future medical professionals and contributing to cutting-edge ophthalmological research. His ongoing training in refractive surgery underscores his dedication to expanding his expertise.
