ANNOUNCEMENT ON PITCH YOUR BUSINESS IDEA TO CORPORATIONS

Innovation and Commercialization Unit (INC) at Research Management Centre is pleased to announce a Tech Planter program which is a real-tech seed acceleration program to those who are interested in commercialize their research or find collaborative partners in Malaysia or Japan

Attached  are the registration guideline TECH PLANTER step-by-step application manual and poster in this email.

 Below is the information summary about TECH PLANTER program:-

TECH PLANTER in MALAYSIA 2019

·  An ultimate real-tech startup platform and acceleration program specifically designed for entrepreneurs/researchers who utilize the power of science and technology.

·  Started in Japan in 2014 and now has expanded to UK, US and 6 ASEAN countries including Malaysia.

·  Simple application process.

·  The project must not be a field of study but a challenging issue for humanity.

·  Intellectual property rights will stay with the applicants.

·  Provide technical reference for the solution or product.

·  Post graduate candidates, researchers, startups and university students are welcome to apply.

·  2 free mentoring sessions for finalists before the Demo Day.

·  Grand Winner will receive JPY300,000 with round trip airfares and accommodation in Singapore for 2 team members to pitch in TECH PLANTER Asia Pacific round.

·  Outstanding projects by incorporated startups stand a chance to be considered for prototyping fund worth up to USD50,000 with Japan Super Factories

Target fields

·  Biotech, agri-tech, energy, new materials, medical technology, artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, and engineering.

·  Inclusive of physical development.
