One Masters by research position in Biotechnology available at the Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Science, International Islamic University Malaysia

Title of project:

The role of bioactive compounds from Anacardium occidentale (Pucuk gajus) as antihyperglycemic agents for the treatment of type 2 diabetes

Source of Funding: RAGS/1/2015/SG0/UIAM/02/1

Project Duration: 2 years (Masters)

Location: Kulliyyah of Science, IIUM, Kuantan Campus

Criteria for the applicants:

Ø Due to the grant requirements, ONLY MALAYSIAN can apply

Ø Biotechnology degree / Bachelor's degree with honors or Equivalent qualification

Ø CGPA of 3.3 and above.

Ø Good command in written and oral English.

Ø Proactive and able to carry out research independently.

Ø Computer Literacy and Data Entry /Analysis Skills are preferred.

start date: January 2016.
