Dear All Teachers / Lecturers (DG Scheme)

We respectfully refer to the above matter.

Please be informed that the schedule of meeting (interview) to consider and deliberate for Merit Based Promotion of academic staff on DG Scheme to Grade DG54 in 2022 is as follows:

 *Please take note that the scheduled date of the meeting is subject to change.

General Rules

i)  The applications for promotion should be evaluated by the Centre Promotion Committee (CPC) for recommendations before submission to the Secretariat, Management Services Division (MSD) latest by 30^th August 2022. 

ii)  Staff must achieve the stipulated level of excellence in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) for the last three (3) years and have made an Asset Declaration besides fulfilling other criteria according to the scheme of service: -

a)      Confirmed in service (applicable for permanent staff only);

b)      Free from any disciplinary action;

c)      Successfully attended seven (7) days’ work-related training i.e., 42 Competency Talent Development (CTD) points;

d)      Achieved the average of Student Feedback Survey (SFS); and

e)      Recommended by the Head of Department/Dean. 

iii)  The points in the Assessment form shall be counted from the date of present             appointment OR after the last promotion (whichever is applicable).

iv)  Please be advised that incomplete form cannot be considered. The application form must be attached together with the latest IIUM CV with relevant supporting documents. 

The Application Form and Assessment Form for Promotion are as attached.  Any application received after the deadline will be tabled in the next scheduled meeting.
