INHART 3-MINUTE THESIS COMPETITION 2019 WINNER ANNOUNCED

The INHART 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition was held on March 18, 2019 and a total of 6 contestants from both halal science and halal social sciences took part in this year’s competition.
The unique competition, developed by the University of Queensland, requires presenters to explain their research using language the general public would comprehend in three minutes. The competitors were allowed to use a single PowerPoint slide without any other resources during their presentation.
After our hardworking judges, Dr Noor Yuslida Hazahari and Dr Betania Kartika assessed each presentation according to the 3MT Rules, 3 small prizes were awarded by INHART to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters:
- Br. Md. Siddique E. Azam, 'Measuring Level of Halal Compliance and its' Impact on Business Performance of SMEs in Malaysia'.First Prize!
- Sr. Nor Azrini Nadiha binti Azmi, 'Green Approach for Halal Nanoemulsions Production Using Deep Eutectic Solvents on Fish By-Products'. Second Prize!
- Sr. Fatemeh Saroodi, 'Collagen-like proteins from Rhodopseudomonas palustris as an alternative for non-halal collagen'. Third Prize!
Br. Md. Siddique will now represent INHART at the University competition. The Faculty wishes Br. Md. Siddique the very best of luck.
