On 12th February 2019, Kulliyyah of Engineering through its Friends of Sungai Pusu (FoSP) initiated the first collaborative meeting between IIUM steering committees, Jabatan Pengaliran and Saliran and Asia Pacific Environmental Consultants (ASPEC). The meeting discussed among others, the role of FoSP in ROL Public Outreach Programme and river rehabilitation.

FoSP aim is to look after the well being of the Sg. Pusu river systems by rehabilitating and reviving the rivers and ponds that falls within campus and neighboring stream. This will be achieved through 4 major focus in FoSP: Awareness & Community Engagement, Biodiversity and Beautification, Research and Rehabilitation
