Expert Profile
Nor Azwani Mohd Shukri obtained her BSc (Hons.) in Dietetics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2001. Upon graduation, she worked as a clinical dietitian at Pantai Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. A year later, she pursued her MSc in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Surrey, UK. Upon completion in 2003, she worked with University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, as a clinical dietitian. She joined IIUM in 2005 as a lecturer in Dietetics at the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences (KAHS). She left for the University of Edinburgh, UK, to do her Ph.D in June 2008. She came back to the Kulliyyah in December 2011 as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Nor Azwani was appointed as the Clinical Coordinator for the Bachelor of Dietetics programme from June 2013 until June 2014. Presently, she is the Head Department of Nutrition Sciences.
