KUANTAN - Kulliyyah of Dentistry is extremely proud with our orthodontist, Dr Siti Hajjar Nasir for being the only women selected among IIUM staff to join "Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp Expedition". The expedition is an IIUM Kuantan Staff Endurance Program which is organized in conjunction with 20th years anniversary of IIUM Kuantan.

Among the objectives of the expedition include to encourage healthy lifestyle; to learn self and team management and organisation in facing difficult challenges; to mentally and physically prepare staff with the stressful working environment and society; and to appreciate Allah s.w.t's magnificent creations of beautiful landscapes and biodiversity of creatures and life. 

With the total distance of 130 km traveled during 14 hiking days, Dr. Siti Hajjar's spirit and determination has certainly moved our heart.
