Port Dickson, 28 September 2021. Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), through Harun M. Hashim Law Centre, provides training to Immigration officers to enhance their enforcement competencies. In the three days programmes, the officers advance their understanding of immigration laws, law on evidence and criminal procedures to ensure better understanding of the legal requirement in enforcing the law.



The Deputy Director  of the Malaysian Immigration Academy (AIMM), Pn Nur Fadhilah Binti Idris, and Head of Law Centre at AIMN, Tuan Syed Ahmad Syed Jamaludin,  joined the opening of the programme.



Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib in welcoming the the Director and the Deputy Director of AIMM refers to the long collaboration between AIKOL and the Immigration Department through the offering of the Certificate in Law to immigration officers and offering of places for qualified immigration officers to read law. He conveys the readiness of AIKOL to assist the Immigration Department for any of their training needs.



Associate Professor Dr Zuraidah Hj Ali and Dr Noor Shuhadawati Mohamad Amin Harun, the Director and the Deputy Director of Harun M. Hashim Law Centre welcome the immigration officers to the training programme.
