LEADING TO THE TOP – IN CONJUNCTION WITH IIUM 40TH CELEBRATION
A group of CFS staff successfully conquered the peak of Mount Kinabalu during the expedition organised by Office of the Dean, SDCE consisting of 10 members including of CFS and other campus's staff. The expedition was also participated by the Centre’s Dean, Tuan Haji Murshid Kassim and Deputy Dean of SDCE, Mr. Taifunisyam Taib.
Objective of the expediation is to promote excellent mindset among CFS community by “Leading to the Top” inspiration together with creating awareness among CFS staff on healthy lifestyle and the way to excel in daily job and career. It is also organised to mark the CFS achievement at the highest peak in Malaysia, in conjunction with IIUM 40th celebration.
The group departed for Kota Kinabalu from KLIA on 26th October and begin ascending the mountain on 27th October. The group arrived at the Panalaban hostel for a night rest in the afternoon close to 5pm. The next day, they began the summit attack at 2.50am in the morning and successfully conquered the peak at 6.20am.
Alhamdulillah, the expedition is successful with the expedition group managed to reach the peak as planned. The success is celebrated at the peak in conjunction with the IIUM 40th celebration.
