Students Outbound Mobility Outreach Programme 5.0 to Tokyo, Japan (22-27 January 2020) was organised by Department of Tourism, Kulliyyah of Languages and Management, IIUM Edu Hub Pagoh, Johor. 

The programme led by Dr Mazni binti Saad, Head of Tourism Department. 13 students from KLM, AIKOL,  IRKHS, and KOE were involved in the programme. 


Students had the opportunity to experience the life and culture of Japanese people and visited many significant tourism destinations such as Asakusa, Shibuya Crossing, Ueno Park, Akihabara, Tokyo Disneyland, and Mount Fuji. 



The mobility trip also visited two universities. They are Daito Bunka University (International Office & International Studies Faculty) and Takushoku University (International Office, Arabic Language Department, Syariah Faculty, & Tourism Faculty) where the students had the chance to share knowledge and activities with the universities’ Professors and Japanese students.


The mobility trip in Tokyo enhanced the knowledge of IIUM students about the modern and civilised country, unique culture and most importantly to see the Islamic practices in the non-Muslim country. The trip ends sucessfully and safely arrived in Malaysia on 27 January 2020.
