Gombak, 7 May 2021. The Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) or the
Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council, appoints Assoc Prof Dr Sharifah Zubaidah
Syed Abdul Kader as a member of the MAIWP Waqf Committee (JKW) from 22 April
2021 to 21 April 2022. Among the functions of the Committee is to ensure that the
implementation of waqf is in accordance with Hukum Syarak, the law and policy.
