Based on the report by the International Islamic University Malaysia’s Health And Wellness Centre (IHWC), there is NO positive case on the virus on all IIUM campuses (Gombak, Kuantan, Gambang, Pagoh and Kuala Lumpur).
The daily check-up organised by IHWC shows that a number of the new and returning students from China who had underwent the home surveillance are free from the virus and are allowed to go back to their own Mahallah and ready for the coming semester.
However, there are still students undergoing the monitoring process as per recommended by the Ministry of Health Malaysia at designated and isolated residential and will be allowed to go back to their Mahallah as soon as they been cleared by IHWC.
IIUM Management strongly deny any fake news shared by social media platforms claiming there is a positive case on the our campuses. IHWC always keep track and updates all information to ensure the community of the university receives the correct information.
