ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE OPENING OF COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY GRANT (CREST)

CREST is pleased to announce the opening of the application for CREST Open R&D Grant Cycle 1/2018 to researchers from the institutions of higher learning and the industries. With accommodating intellectual property arrangement, industry involvement in the research enables the research result to be prepositioned to industry application, increasing the potential for commercialization at research completion.  

There are two type research CREST Grant:

1) CREST Open R&D Grant

CREST R&D Grant is not limited to E&E discipline but should support E&E industry sector. With accommodating intellectual property arrangement, industry involvement in the research enables the research result to be prepositioned to industry application, increasing the potential for commercialisation at research completion. 

2) CREST Targeted R&D Grant

The Targeted R&D Grant offers attractive intellectual property arrangement between CREST and the researchers. 

The objective of the CREST Targeted R&D Grant is to promote targeted research in key clusters.

The Targeted R&D projects will drive new technology development and innovation (products, solutions) for intended market verticals. These will be shaped by the Technology & Market trends Input from industry and academia partners.
