In a region like Southeast Asia where half of the population is youth, Canada is proud to be partner in education and youth empowerment.
We are pleased to announce that the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) is now open for application submissions! Calling students from ASEAN countries who are interested to study with a Canadian institution to apply.
The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchange for Development (SEED) offers opportunities for students from ASEAN member states to participate in short-term studies or research at Canadian post-secondary institutions (up to 8 months, or two semesters), as part of their degree from their home university, in fields that are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The scholarship values range from CAD $10,200 to CAD $15,900 (approximately RM32,000 to RM50,000) depending on education level and method of study. The application deadline for 2021-2022 is March 4, 2021. More details can be found at https://www.educanada.ca/scholarships-bourses/can/institutions/asean-anase.aspx?lang=eng or by scanning the QR code on the attached Canada-ASEAN SEED postcard.
If your home institution is a member of UMAP, you may connect with Canadian UMAP members to host SEED recipients and use the UMAP Pledge of Agreement. For more information, please see www.umap.org.
