HASANAH SPECIAL GRANT (HSG) 2020

Dear YBhg. Tan Sri/Dato'/Prof. /Dr. /Sir/Madam,

We are pleased to announce that  IIUM Entrepreneurship & Consultancies Sdn Bhd (IEC) has submitted required documents for Eligibility Assessment to Hasanah Team and IEC eligible to apply.

Therefore, RMC has decided that IIUM researchers are invited to apply through IEC. Please submit your application to the following details;

Guiding principle in providing the fund are:

·       improve the quality of life of poor families in Malaysia and to help them recover from the COVID-19 pandemic;

·       build resiliency in this time of need; and

·       enable rapid mobilisation of resources to Civil Society Organisations CSOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Social Enterprises (SE) to extend the assistance.

Fund Size

The maximum fund size for any project will be up to RM250,000.00. Any request above RM250,000.00 will be reviewed on a case to case basis, and will only be awarded to existing and past Hasanah partners who have met the governance requirements.

Duration of Projects

The proposed projects can be implemented over a duration of 3 to 12 months.

Grant Application

Please ensure that you have downloaded the Implementation Plan template and Budget template and then need to be uploaded on the grant portal. The documents are available below:

Since the application is applied through IIUM subsidiary, please include the management fee in your budget template when you apply the grant. Please include under the following;

Administrative cost (e.g. other admin related cost) : 12% mgt fee + 6% SST(tax)  in the HSG-2020_Budget-template.
