Invitation to Forum & Sharing Session: Research Cluster

A research centre is a formally structured unit within the university, other than a department or a school, established with the purpose of advancing scholarly activity primarily through collaborative research, research training, research dissemination, and creative endeavors.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things in universities. We had no choice but to adapt and adopt new norms, including switching from physical meetings to virtual platforms. In response to various requests and feedback received during our open day, the Research Cluster Office is convening a knowledge sharing session that will us learn from each other’s experiences regarding the following topics:

1) Universiti Malaya Centre of Research Sharing Session Series 1/2021 

2) Forum: Challenges & Benefits: Research Centre Journey

Forums and sharing sessions are free and open for every university to join. These programs are a part of the activities under the UM Research Cluster Office – Research Visibility Pillar.

The programs provide an opportunity for researchers, people working in the field and others with an interest in the area to gather and discuss; and to network with each other, to engage with researchers and experience centres’ experts giving insights into their activities and latest work.
