ANNOUNCEMENT OF OPENING OF RESEARCH GRANT

IIUM RESEARCH ENDOWMENT FUND TYPE A AND TYPE B

We are pleased to announce that the IIUM Research Endowment Fund Type A and Type B is now open for submission from 7^th October 2013 up to 7^th November 2013.

In relation to the above, we wish to encourage interested academic staff to apply for the said fund by filling in the relevant form which is available at the RMC website at http://www.iium.edu.my/research.

Please take note that the university had approved the revision of application form for Endowment Type B.

TIMELINE OF THE APPLICATION

ACTION BY	ACTIVITIES	DEADLINE
RESEARCHER	Fill up the application and submit to KULL (HOR)	7/10/2013 – 21/10/2013
KULL	Evaluation at Kulliyyah Level	23/10/2013 – 28/10/2013
RESEARCHER	Improvement of proposal	29/10/2013 – 1/11/2013
KULL	Submission of complete proposals to RMC	7/11/2013

REQUIREMENTS:

APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THE KULLIYYAH.
PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. THOSE WHO ARE NON-PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER (PI) FOR YEAR 2013.
2. YOUNG RESEARCHER
