AWARENESS ON HEALTH SCREENING PROCEDURE DURING PANDEMIC COVID-19 AT KULLIYYAH OF MEDICINE
Assalamua'laikum wbt. Dear all KOM Community,
This is to remind Kulliyyah of Medicine's members to use the assigned entrance, scan temperature and MySejahtera QR Code to assist in managing the COVID-19 outbreaks. However, due to the emerging of COVID-19 cases recently that affected many areas in Pahang, the Kuantan Campus COVID-19 Task Force has conducted series of audit to the Kulliyyahs in Kuantan Campus to ensure Kulliyyah has follow the standard SOP by the University.
Therefore, the Safety and Health Committee would like to seek your cooperation to follow SOP and update regularly your COVID-19 health risk status each time you enter the Kulliyyah of Medicine especially those who have (any of below criterias):
a. Any 2 symptoms as listed below:
· Fever
· Chills
· Shivering (rigor)
· Body ache
· Sore throat
· Nausea or vomiting
· Diarrhea
· Fatigue
· Runny nose or nasal congestion
· Cough
· Difficulty breathing
· Loss of smell
· Loss of taste
b. Attended any area/event associated with known COVID-19 cluster
c. Travelled to any country outside Malaysia within 14 days before onset of symptoms
d. Close contact to confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within 14 days before onset of illness
Your are encourage to:
1. Use the correct entrance and perform self check in by scanning the MySejahtera QR code available before entering the KOM building.
2.The staff, students, and visitors shall display the Check-in Information to the officer on duty at the screening counter and scan body temperature.
3. For those who are at high risk e.g. fever with body temperature higher than 37.5*c, presented with coughing, sore throat or difficulty breathing and any recent travel to any red zone are not allowed to enter the building. Students with no transportation will be located at the holding area before being taken to IIUM Family Health Clinic for further health screening.
4. Update your COVID-19 risk status by selecting ‘Risk Status’ in MySejahtera App to complete a screening questionnaire. Other information is also available in the apps by selecting "More" such as "Hotspot Tracker" to locate the status of current location to ensure you are in the green zone.
