GENERAL INFORMATION  

SELECTION FOR PIDATO ANTARABANGSA BAHASA MELAYU KATEGORI PELAJAR ANTARABANGSA DI MALAYSIA

Date/Day        : 29 April 2019 / Monday

Time               : 2.30 pm

Venue             : Office of IIUM World Debate and Oratory Centre (IWON), Level 3, Main Auditorium Building (Above Immigration Office)

Registration   : 1) Students MUST collect and fill up the registration form at the IWON Office before or on 26^th of April 2019.  

                        2) The form must be submitted together with a copy of latest exam result.  

Eligibility        : 1. International students of IIUM EXCEPT for students from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Brunei.

                          2. Undergraduate, Master or PhD students are allowed to join.

                          3. For undergraduates, CGPA must be of 2.50 or above.

Format           : 1) Students are required to prepare a 5 minutes speech (in Bahasa Melayu) based on one of the themes below.

                          2) Students are not required to memorize the speech.

Themes         : Participants must prepare a speech based on one of these themes:

• Keamanan Dunia (World Peace)
• Kepelbagaian Budaya (Cultural Diversity)
• Kepentingan Pendidikan (Importance of Education)
• Kepentingan Bahasa (Importance of Language)
• Bersatu Kita Teguh, Bercerai Kita Roboh (Importance of Unity)
• Peranan Mahasiswa
• Ekonomi dan Pendidikan
• Pendidikan dan Peluang Pekerjaan
• Kerjasama Antara Negara
• Isu Kemanusiaan
• Isu Hak asasi
• Kesaksamaan Gender
• Yang Tua Dikasihi, Yang Muda Disayangi
