We are pleased to announce that Kulliyyah of Medicine (KOM) will be organizing our 5th Medical Research Symposium (MRS)2019. The symposium will aim primarily at development on the research and produce publication. The theme for this event is 'Expanding Research Collaboration in Health'.

We are delighted to announce our renowned and distinguished KEYNOTE speaker for the MRS this year.

Dato' Prof Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud

He will be delivering a talk on ‘Research Collaborations - The Why and How’. 

We also have our home grown Plenary Speakers:

Plenary 1: Assoc. Prof. Dr Khairidzan Mohd Kamal (Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM)

Plenary 2: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Haniki Nik Mohamad (Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, IIUM)

It is with utmost pleasure that we extend our invitation to researchers, academicians and students to participate in the Oral and Poster presentation. The abstract submission deadline is on the 30th July 2019.

Selection of oral and poster presentations will take place and speakers and presenters will be informed. The printed symposium will include abstracts of the accepted oral and poster presentations. 

The accepted abstracts will be published in the IMJM supplementary.
