Yr 3 KOD Students' Visit to Quit Smoking Clinic in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA), Kuantan, Pahang
This yearly program is conducted in 3rd year of Dentistry Program, IIUM. The objective of the program is to expose the students to the facilities of Quit Smoking Clinic in Government setting. Dental Profession plays a vital role in promoting Smoking Cessation among populations as patients usually seen as early as Preventive Stage. With this effort, it is hoped that the students will get better understanding on the Tobacco Modules and help them practice a successful tobacco cessation to the patients.
The program comprises of two sessions:
