Kulliyyah of Dentistry would like to congratulate Dr Mohd Syazwan Shah Eddie for winning "The Best Poster Presenter" and the "2nd Runner-Up for E-Poster" during Malaysian-International Dental Exhibition and Conference 2018 (MIDEC). The event was organized by Malaysian Dental Association at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on 20th - 22nd July 2018.

Dr Mohd Syazwan's project, entitled: In vitro study: The potential of Myrmecodia pendans (sarang semut) extracts in inducing apoptosis on HSC-3 human oral cancer cell lines" was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Widya Lestari and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Solachuddin.

KOD was also proud with Asst. Prof. Dr. Izzati Nabilah Ismail and Asst. Prof. Dr Muhd. Firdaus Che Musa for winning the "1st and 2nd Runner Up" for Oral Presentation during this event.
